Description

The EVOC FR Enduro Blackline 16 is a purpose-built pack for enduro riders who need to carry tools, hydration, and protection on all-day rides. It combines a slim profile with enough room for essentials, and the integrated back protector adds peace of mind on technical trails. The 16-litre capacity hits a sweet spot between carrying enough kit and staying light and agile.

Key characteristics

Liteshield back protector – removable CE-certified protector that absorbs impact in a crash without restricting movement.
16-litre main compartment – fits a hydration bladder, spare tube, pump, and snacks for a full day out. The separate tool compartment keeps your kit organised.
Air circulation back padding – channelled foam and mesh help keep your back cooler on long climbs.
Hip belt with pockets – stow a phone, energy bar, or multi-tool within easy reach, so you don’t need to stop.
Hydration compatible – takes a 3-litre reservoir (bladder not included) and has a hose routing that doesn’t flop around.
Helmet carry – the front straps let you lash a full-face helmet when you’re off the bike.
Goggle pocket – fleece-lined compartment keeps spare lenses or glasses scratch-free.
Durable fabric – reinforced high-wear areas shrug off rock scrapes and branches.

On the trail

The FR Enduro Blackline sits close to your back without bouncing, even when you’re ploughing through rock gardens or launching off drops. The wide hip belt transfers weight away from your shoulders, so you barely notice the pack during long descents. The back protector isn’t just a safety feature – it gives you the confidence to push harder on rowdy terrain. Access to tools is quick, thanks to the front zip and internal dividers. All-day comfort holds up, and the ventilation channels actually work, unlike some packs that leave you soaked.

Recommendation

This pack suits enduro racers, big-day trail riders, and anyone who wants a pack that carries well, protects your spine, and keeps gear tidy. If you’re after a minimal pack without a protector, look elsewhere – but if you ride hard and want one bag that does it all, the FR Enduro Blackline 16 is a solid choice.
